Who this affects
The page refreshes or redirects on a timer, which can move people away mid-task.
How to fix it
Remove the meta refresh. If a timed action is required, let the user extend or turn off the limit.
How much work is it?
Usually a template or design change. That is a rough guide for planning, not an estimate for your codebase. A single content edit repeated across a template is a template change.
What a person still has to check
Passing this rule does not mean 2.2.1 passes. Automation checks part of the criterion, and the rest is a judgement:
Find any time limit, such as a session timeout, and confirm it can be extended or turned off.
